Dear Diary,

The bells haven’t started jingling yet. Only the truest of True Believers are really thinking about Christmas right now, with Halloween costumes and candy getting all the attention, but the North Pole is anything but quiet. The workshop is shifting into high gear—toy trains clattering down assembly lines, wrapping paper flying like confetti, and elves zipping around faster than reindeer on espresso. It’s the season’s warm-up sprint, and we’re gaining speed!

Today’s list review brought two sunny stories from the States. First, young Mason from Florida. He’s been slightly naughty—sneaking pool noodles into the neighbor’s koi pond and fibbing about who left the sprinkler running all night. But he also organized a lemonade stand to raise money for the local animal shelter. That kind of heart earns him a spot on the “Nice with a Splash of Mischief” list. I think a remote-control boat will float his spirits.

Then there’s Zoe from Arizona, who’s been extremely nice. She spent her summer helping her grandparents tend their desert garden, taught her little brother how to ride a bike, and even led a neighborhood cleanup after a dust storm. The elves were so impressed, they’ve started crafting a solar-powered art kit just for her—perfect for her creative spark and sunny surroundings.

Warm weather or winter chill, kindness shines through. Back to the workshop now—Comet just knocked over a tower of teddy bears again!
